Before the year ends and I might not get the chance to post until 2013, I thought I’d sum up what I’ve done over the past months or so in photos. Only because pictures speak a thousand words (haha)
My holidays have been good to me; I’ve been working, catching up with friends and eating out almost every night. Although I feel like this year’s New Year Eve will be exceptionally different (maybe because I’ve discovered bits and pieces of myself lol) I’ve already started making some new year resolutions and can’t wait to kick start 2013 with my favourites.
Tonight is one of the few day off’s I get for the next two weeks! Spent making a post on Tumblr hahahaaha. Hope whoever reads this is enjoying their holidays. Maybe I’ll post up some photos during Christmas/Boxing Day/New Year’s.
Just some photos of what I’ve been up to lately. I’ve still got exams (last one on friday yay), so I’ll be back! :)
Back to healthy eating/dieting next week for summer 2013
Hi everyone! :)
1. I baked fairy mini cupcakes the other day with my bestfriend!!! They were so delicious, I found the recipe when I was working at the Electronics/Books section and had nothing to do but go through aisles of books and came across this really quick and easy recipe!! I wish I could bake more, but I don’t have the time and I wouldn’t know who to give them to…looking forward to summer holidays so i can achieve this goal!!
2. Splurged on some makeup the other week, hehe :) I was so happy for these to arrive (took almost a week), incase anyone wonders where I get them online, I use the actual US sites. I’m hesitant to buy makeup off eBay or any other dodge sites because they have a high possibility of being fake and this is our skin we are talking about.. lol. I’ve been itching to get the hoola bronzer for ages and the thing I like about it is that it’s matte; I have oily skin so I don’t want to shine in photos (gross lol) and a little bit goes a longgg way, girls need to use bronzers sparingly! The one product I don’t recommend is the POREfessional ($30US), you need to use a squeeze and a half to spread it evenly onto your skin, and the tube is VERY small. Otherwise, I’m very happy with my purchases! :)
I haven’t posted in so long. I’ve been taking lots of photos of foods lately because I’ve been very lucky lately to spoil myself to some yummy desserts :) C’mon, I love food! And I allow myself to ONE cheat day per week! ;)
So many good things have happened to me lately :) I’m currently having my mid semester break and I’m seeing my whole group on Friday! I think it’s very important to have the right type of people in your life; I think it’s a bonus to have people who share the same interests/values as you but it’s not a bad thing to have friends that are so different from you. I’m extremely lucky I’ve found the most amazing people to become life long friends with and share all these lovely food journeys with! (as well as burning off those calories lol)
Sometimes I feel as if I’m growing up a little too fast. I found myself another job, and like Adrian said “it’s nothing special”, but I like to think that I don’t have to rely on my parents as much anymore, I can handle my expenses independently - I already am a burden by allowing them to pay for our petrol, give us our allowance and occasionally they’ll treat us with extra money (there’s 3 kids in the family) and once again, I’m extremely thankful/lucky to have them as parents. It’s just so frustrating to have people out there be so judgemental and ignorant about these things.
I will post up more from now on :)
